Your money, New Yorkers, went to pay for the "assigned counsel for the rich"

Ask the New York State Comptroller and the New York State Attorney General, how did it happen that at the time when 80% of New Yorkers cannot afford legal representation, New York State Attorney General represented a wealthy attorney and wife of a high-ranking judge, sued for her misconduct AS A PRIVATE ATTORNEY, in a private court proceedings, where she privately represented private paying clients - at taxpayers' expense?

Think about this "assigned counsel for the rich" category when you are denied assigned counsel because you do not qualify by income or type of the case.
